保良局陳溢小學 2011-2012年度第一階段環保活動資訊

1.	減碳先鋒隊培訓計劃 活動由香港小童群益會主辦，優質教育基金贊助，「雪中情—減碳教育及實踐計劃」之其中一部份。培訓計劃之目的是訓練校內約四十名學生領袖，進行深入的小組教育工作，將他們組織成減碳先鋒隊，日後協助學校推行減碳實踐的工作。在九次的課堂中，培訓內容除涉及衣、食、住、行等方面外，還介紹了碳足跡原理及碳審計的概念。
	Low Carbon Ambassador Scheme This scheme was a part of the project “Low Carbon Education and Practice Scheme” which was organized by the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong and sponsored by the Quality Education Fund. About 40 students were trained as Low Carbon Ambassadors to help to promote low carbon living at our school. 9 training workshops were held to help the ambassadors understand how to practise low carbon living in different aspects like wearing, eating, living and travelling. At the same time, the concepts of carbon footprint and carbon audit were introduced.
2.	低碳校園工作坊 活動由香港小童群益會主辦，優質教育基金贊助，「雪中情—減碳教育及實踐計劃」之其中一部份。目的是以工作坊的形成教育學生，認識低碳生活，在期內已在兩個年級舉行工作坊，工作坊內容均以輕鬆的遊戲及討論，以衣、食、住、行等主題，帶出在不同的生活環境中，如何有效實踐低碳生活。
	Low Carbon School Workshops These workshops were parts of the project “Low Carbon Education and Practice Scheme” which was organized by the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong and sponsored by the Quality Education Fund. 2 different workshops were held for 2 different levels of students. Interactive games and discussions were done to help our students understand how to practise low carbon living in different aspects like wearing, eating, living and travelling.
3.	學校碳審計 活動由香港小童群益會主辦，優質教育基金贊助，「雪中情—減碳教育及實踐計劃」之其中一部份。香港減碳及能源管理專業學會一行到校探訪，除聽取學校所推行之節能減排措施外，並實地視察各項環保設施之具體運作情況，亦收集了學校大量數據資料，為學校作出專業的全面的碳審計，以作將來更有效推行環保節能項目之參考。
	School Carbon Audit This programme was a part of the project “Low Carbon Education and Practice Scheme” which was organized by the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong and sponsored by the Quality Education Fund. Hong Kong Institute of Carbon Emission Reduction & Energy Management visited our school to see how we carried out environmental protection policies and to collect data for professional carbon audit of our school. The information provided was very useful for planning and carrying out environmental protection policies at our school.
4.	識用冷氣運動2011 活動由自然足印主辦，旨在提高全校師生對環保問題的意識，並付諸實行，其中的「無冷氣日」成功鼓勵師生適度節能及減少濫用冷氣，從而變成一種新生活習慣，本校亦已訂立「無冷氣政策」，為地球的可持續發展出一分力。
	Know Air-Conditioning Scheme 2011 This scheme was organized by Footprint. The objective was to enhance the awareness of energy saving and reducing the use of air-con among our teachers and students. One of the major programmes “No air-con day” was done to promote the related concepts. As a follow-up, “No air-con policy” was also set for our school.
5.	「淨灘行動」計劃 活動由綠色力量主辦，屯門龍鼓灘至龍鼓洲一帶是中華白海豚的活躍海域，囤積在該處海岸的垃圾，會隨潮汐漂到海上，影響中華白海豚的安全。本校師生一行約二十人到龍鼓洲上清潔沙灘上的垃圾，有助保護海洋生態，更可保育中華白海豚，而途中更從海上觀賞中華白海豚，進一步了解行動對保育中華白海豚的重要。
	“Clean the Beach” Project This project was organized by Green Power. Its objectives were to enhance students’ awareness of keeping marine clean and conserving Chinese white dolphins. About 20 students joined the project and cleaned the beach in Lung Kwu Tan. They also watched some Chinese white dolphins near Lung Kwu Tan and Lung Kwu Chau, where Chinese white dolphins loved to go.
6.	專業學校發展計劃—環境教育 計劃由教育局主辦，本校透過與專業發展學校及教育局代表之定期交流協作，在專題教學、環保建設、小組活動等多方面在校內不同層面推展，透過經驗、知識的傳承，力求更有效更快速地在校內全面推行環保教育。
	Professional Development Schools (PDS) Scheme - Environmental Education This scheme was organized by Education Bureau. Through regular meetings with PDS and EDB, our school gained some insights in environmental education, such as organizing theme-based learning and activity groups and using environmental friendly tools at school. The experiences shared by PDS and EDB helped our school promote whole-school environmental education more efficiently and effectively.
